For the people who miss the little moments.
If you remember a character arriving to tell you there was new mail, a letter full of colour, or a greeting that felt personal, you understand what we miss about IncrediMail. ANIMAIL brings that spirit into a new Windows email-client preview, with original artwork, animal characters and ASIA DESIGN LAB design.
It is an independent project, not a reissue or continuation of the original IncrediMail product. We do not own its old servers, content or account systems.
What to look for in an IncrediMail replacement.
| What you miss | ANIMAIL’s approach | Current status |
|---|---|---|
| Animated mail notifiers | Six original animals perform above the Windows taskbar, with funny sound greetings. | Included in the Windows preview |
| Creative letters | Eight stationery designs, stickers, greetings, signatures and voice notes. | Included; advanced Letter Creator is still planned |
| A familiar desktop mail client | Menus, mail tools, multiple accounts, folders, attachments, Cc/Bcc and Reply all. | Included; provider acceptance testing remains in progress |
| Easy connection | Guided provider setup and secure IMAP/SMTP properties. | App-password/manual setup; Google/Microsoft OAuth pending |
| Old IncrediMail archives | A tested legacy importer needs separate development and validation. | Not included; retain original backups |
Same address. A new little home.
You do not need to create an @animail.app email address. ANIMAIL connects to compatible existing email providers. Receiving and sending still use your provider’s servers. Read the mailbox compatibility guide before connecting.
Is ANIMAIL ready to replace IncrediMail?
ANIMAIL is a working preview with real IMAP/SMTP mail, server folder operations, an encrypted Outbox and original animal notifiers. It is still in development. Microsoft sign-in, Google OAuth, legacy imports and editable server drafts are not included yet. It is a project to explore, test and help shape, with clear limits rather than a promise of complete feature parity.
Try the feeling first.
You can meet the animals in the notifier playground, see the current features, or download the Windows preview and explore its synthetic demo mailbox.
