The site refreshes from a live, verified release catalog. New published releases update the download buttons and this history. Existing release files keep their original version and checksum.

Update behaviour: new ANIMAIL builds check the official catalog after launch, on resume and periodically while running. An available update is offered for download; installation remains your choice. Older previews without an update checker need a manual download first.

Your mailbox comes first

A guided first launch connects your email, helps you choose an animal notifier, and introduces your own inbox.

  • New Windows profiles start with a dedicated three-step setup instead of example messages and contacts.
  • Connect and test incoming and outgoing email before choosing your animal notifier and greeting preferences.
  • Setup resumes after a restart, including your animal choice and the final introduction.
  • Existing connected accounts open normally; older demo-only installations are guided into setup without deleting cached data.
  • The native mailbox and composer selectors show real connected accounts. Browser demonstrations remain separate.

The official ANIMAIL website, live release downloads and automatic update checks arrive alongside ANIMAIL’s real mail engine and original animal crew.

  • Automatic update checks after launch, on resume and every 15 minutes while running, with manual Check for updates in Help.
  • A persistent new-version banner, official installer/portable links and a 24-hour reminder. Downloads and installation stay under your control.
  • Live IMAP IDLE receiving, server folders and custom folders, Archive/Trash/restore, flags and Sent copies.
  • An encrypted Outbox with undo-send, safer retry recovery, private Bcc and reply-all headers.
  • Six original animated animal notifiers, stationery, voice notes and a Windows installer with animal previews.
